Informative Instagrams

More and more people in the hobby are turning to Instagram for selling items and spreading information. It is a quick way to scroll through information and pretty easy to use. Here are a few Instagram profiles you are going to want to add!

BJD Awareness

A Instagram page dedicated for spreading knowledge on 101 BJD care as well as community alerts! I really like the photos they include with their posts. Their information is very easy to read and overall helps those new and old in this hobby.

BJD Sale

This is a large group on Instagram for BJD sales! The way it works is that you tag @bjdsale on your post and they repost your sale. They have over 8k followers and update daily.

BJD Transactions

Another Instagram account that you want to follow especially if you do sales through Instagram. They have feedback for different users and you can DM them to leave feedback for other members too!

BJDs on YouTube

YouTube has really changed and has seen a huge influx of people making videos. Back when I started making videos on YouTube in 2009 there wasn’t that many channels to follow. Now when you search BJD you can find lots of people sharing their experiences and giving tutorials on how to care for BJDs and make things for them! Here are a few helpful channels that were recommended by fellow community members!

AsenvaBJD

If you didn’t already know, I too have a BJD channel that I run besides this blog. I offer several instructional videos on BJD care as well as product reviews. I recently have been trying to get back into making the BJD Addicts prompts which is a series that puts forth a question to the community to answer. I really enjoy making BJD videos and also stream on Tuesdays with Dolly Talk Tue at 8pm CT! Feel free to jump in and chat!

Racoondevil

This channel was suggested to me by a viewer and they really enjoyed their tutorials. Racoondevil has videos on making patterns and sewing.

Lavilyday

Lavilyday has several vlog type videos that are entertaining to watch. She also does some DIY projects and has informative videos as well!

Teeny Tinkers

A new and innovative YouTuber has been showing off their process on making their own BJD. The Teeny Tinkers channel has lots of BJD craft videos as well as BJD reviews to showcase on their channel!

Lomi’s Playground

A popular channel for faceups, BJD customization, and tutorials is Lomi’s Playground! They have videos on several different things. They also have free patterns for you to use!

Sea Hedgehog

Sea Hedgehog has a huge selection of videos to look through. Several videos are comparison videos among the BJD companies, and they also do a lot of reviews on dolls as well.

MsKittyBlue

MsKittyBlue has a large…and I mean a LARGE collection. They are very friendly and their channel features several box openings and reviews. Their channel also offers great comparison videos too!

Pinktezka

Have you ever wanted to make a BJD Diorama? Well look no further and be ready to be in awe with Pinkteska and their BJD Dioramas! Pinktezka showcases her amazing dioramas and does vlog type videos as well!

BJDs on Facebook

Do you still use Facebook? Well there are several groups on Facebook that are great to join with very active communities!

BJD Addicts

This group has over 16 thousand members and is very active! They have virtual meet-ups and chat sessions! It is a great place to connect with fellow BJD owners! They also have a sales page, WTB/ISO page/Community Alert Page.

BJD Lovers-Sales

This is a large group dedicated to BJD sales. If you are looking to buy something BJD related second hand, then this a great place to check.

Doll Transactions Gone Bad

Are you looking to buy from the second hand market? Well this Facebook page is good for checking and doing your homework on other sellers. People share their experiences that have gone wrong so you don’t make the same mistakes.

Other Helpful Sites!

Who would I be if I didn’t at least mention Den of Angels. This online forum has been around since forever. It has seen many changes over the years but still stands as one of the most iconic forums to join. They have a marketplace and tons of articles to read regarding BJD Care and maintenance.

DolliehSanctuary

This one is a new one to me but was suggested by a viewer. From my initial glances it looks to be like another forum but also includes other dolls besides the standard BJDs.

Where Angels Lie

Are you a VOLKS lover? Well then this is a good site for you! This is a VOLKS Super Dollfie database! You can look up different VOLKS dolls and even the discontinued ones!

BJD Collectasy

One of my go-to personal favorite sties is BJD Collectasy. They showcase current BJD sales/events that are going on and have a huge list of the current BJD companies out there today! They are worth bookmarking!

BJD Addicts Discord

Are you a person who likes to get onto Discord? Well there is a BJD Addicts discord too now! The BJD Addicts Facebook group will host their virtual meetups on there and have several different channels for people to chat about their love for these dolls.
